Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for an Associate Dentist located in Nantucket, MA. The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive dental services, including routine check-ups, restorative treatments, and preventive care, with a focus on patient comfort and education. Responsibilities include diagnosing oral health issues, creating treatment plans, performing dental procedures, and collaborating with other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Associate Dentist will also maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications Proficiency in restorative and preventive dentistry practices, including fillings, crowns, and cleaningsStrong diagnostic skills to identify oral health issues and develop effective treatment plansDemonstrated patient care skills, with a focus on empathy and building trust with patientsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentDoctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental schoolState dental license for Massachusetts and current certificationsPrior experience in a dental practice is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
