The successful candidate will support fleet technical assistance, integrated logistics support (ILS), supply and spares budgeting, and missile inventory management activities across the program office. This position is onsite in Arlington (Crystal City), VA.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nTechnical, Training, and Program Support\nProvide technical expertise to PEO IWS-11 related to maintenance and training for the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System and RAM Guided Missile Weapon System.\nPrepare briefing and training materials in support of program and fleet requirements.\nProvide planning and coordination support, including liaison with government field activities and hardware contractors.\nPrepare briefings and participate in various program meetings.\nProvide technical feedback to the fleet through communications such as Fleet Advisory messages and Technical Bulletins.\nGenerate weekly ILS/In-Service Status Reports.\nSupply Support and Spares Budgeting\nResolve supply support related issues.\nSupport the development and update of provisioning documentation.\nCoordinate spares budget submittals and assist in spares budget reviews.\nDevelop briefing material for Baseline Assessment Memorandums and support data sheet updates for spares budgeting.\nDevelop O&MN requirements for submission via the OPOM database, and assist in spares modeling for both wholesale and retail levels.\nIntegrated Logistics Support and Sustainment Documentation\nPrepare or review Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans, Ordnance Assessment Plans, Demilitarization/Disposal Plans, Technical Manuals, and Integrated Logistics Assessment documentation.\nProvide ILS technical review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and identify impacts to ILS.\nMissile Inventory and Data Management\nManage and update US Fleet missile inventory data, and support “what-if” scenario planning for budget development and justification.\nProvide data support for Navy Ordnance Inventory Management systems and readiness requirements.\nAssist in the management of government-owned assets.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nPrevious US Navy FC or ET would be the ideal candidate for this role.\n4-6 years of relevant experience in logistics, program support, or technical support to a Navy or DoD weapon system program.\nActive Secret security clearance.\nWorking knowledge of Navy shipboard weapon systems, ILS processes, and supply support/provisioning practices.\n\nWhat Your Experience Working for Us Will Be Like\nAsk any of our employees and they will tell you SSI is a great place to work with an upbeat and positive culture.
