Security Officer

POSITION TITLE: Security Guard REPORTS TO: Principal and Security Supervisor TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 11-month position, will begin with the 2026-2027 school year. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent (Law Enforcement/Security Experience preferred). Hours = 7:30am-3:30pm Monday - FridayResponsible for checking all inside and outside exits at schools daily.Typing incident reportsCirculate around the school premises on a regular basis.Will work ball games/events - periodically checking parking lot for any suspicious activity.In case of emergency, contact the city or county police and the principal and security supervisorWillingness to obtain CDL to drive a bus when needed for security purposes.OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain confidentiality.Attend meetings and training as directed.Present and communicate in a professional manner.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
