Vision Care Assistant

We are a private optometry practice seeking a friendly, dependable Vision Assistant to support patient flow and day-to-day office operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, values organization and teamwork, and is interested in building a long-term role in a healthcare setting. Our practice provides comprehensive primary and medical eye care in a calm, patient-centered environment. We focus on consistency, quality care, and creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments and assist with incoming phone calls Prepare patients for exams and assist with pre-testing procedures Help guide patients through their visit and answer basic questions about exams and eye care Support doctors and staff with clinical and administrative tasks as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office and clinical space Assist patients with frame selection, basic measurements, eyewear education, and optical area support. No prior optometry experience is required. We provide structured on-the-job training for the right candidate.
