HB: 00015 Store Support CenterR301US Hibbett Retail, Inc.SummaryThe Sr. Programmer Analyst - Workday is responsible for performing technical analysis, system application support, and software development for Hibbett HR, Payroll, and Finance Systems. This includes working with business owners, Solutions Analysts, and architects to plan and execute the implementation of new applications, application enhancements, and issue resolution. This position will review requirements, create/approve technical specifications, and perform testing and QA. This position requires a mastery of the business portfolio of all areas and systems supported. In addition, the Sr. Programmer Analyst must possess expert skills in problem solving, process definition, and analytical capabilities.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Analyze and identify applications gaps and new solutions where neededPerform impact analysis of various applications/systems as a result of change and provide solution optionsTranslate business requirements and capabilities into technical solutions in collaboration with solution analysts, architects, and business partnersAnalyze complex data systems and document data elements, data flow relationships and dependenciesDefine appropriate techno-functional solution design in collaborations with architect, solutions analysts, and business usersDevelop code, test plans, expected results, and test data at a program/integration levelReview requirement documents and approve technical specificationsCoordinate and perform system testing and assist with Quality Assurance and User Acceptance TestingInterface with business users and managementSelf-manage production and project work activitiesAssist with project estimation activitiesMentor other programmers and senior programmersSupport multiple HR/Payroll/Finance application areasParticipate in on-call rotation; after business hours on-call availability is requiredOther requirements maybe added as neededQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
