You'll operate a variety of test equipment, follow established procedures, and work closely with engineers and technicians to identify and resolve issues. This role requires attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a strong commitment to quality in a fast-paced production environment.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nReview traveler documents, MPIs, ECOs, and customer requirements prior to test.\n\nOperate ICT, functional testers, boundary scan systems, and other automated/manual test equipment.\n\nPerform electrical and functional verification of PCB assemblies according to established procedures.\n\nAccurately record test results, log failures, and maintain test documentation.\n\nIdentify, classify, and isolate failures; escalate issues to technicians or engineers for debug.\n\nEnsure all test equipment is set up, calibrated, and functioning properly before use.\n\nFollow ESD, MSD, and safety protocols during all handling and test operations.\n\nCommunicate daily pass-downs to leads, supervisors, and engineers.\n\nSupport NPIs and engineering builds by running test programs and providing feedback.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives related to test yield, throughput, and reliability.\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (required).\n\nTechnical coursework in electronics or related field preferred.\n\nExperience\n\n1–2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or test operations.\n\nFamiliarity with ICT, functional test, or system-level test equipment a plus.\n\nSkills\n\nBasic knowledge of electronics and PCB assemblies.\n\nAbility to read and follow written test procedures and travelers.\n\nCompetent in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, or other basic test instruments.\n\nBasic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data entry and reporting.\n\nGood communication skills and ability to work with technicians and engineers.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nBenefits\n\n401(k) with company match\n\nMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance\n\nPaid time off\n\nCareer growth opportunities in advanced electronics manufacturing\n\nSchedule\n\n8-hour shift, Monday–Friday\n\nOvertime and weekends as needed\n\nITAR/EAR Compliance: Due to the nature of the work performed at Rocket EMS, this position may require access to export-controlled technical data or technology.
