Hourly Pay Range$35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position HighlightsPosition: Neurophysiology Technician CertifiedLocation: Swedish HospitalFull Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours/week)Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM, weekends only if on-callWhat You Will DoDemonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. This includes knowledge of the physical and psychological needs of patients served and the ability to respond appropriately to those needs.Performs EEG testing, including Routine, Long-term/Continuous, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Ambulatory, along with second modality of NCS/EMG, IONM, Autonomics, and/or EPs on patients according to established guidelines.Maintains a variety of logs and records. In doing so, records activity in log books and Quality Assurance records, delivers requisitions to medical records, and ensures dictated reports are copied and delivered according to established procedures.Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission, ACNS, ABRET, ASET, and NAEC. Effectively monitors and communicates changes to management and staff.Performs related clerical duties such as scheduling patients, answering telephones, taking and relaying messages, completing patient charges or bills, filing records, etc. as instructed and neededShapes a culture of teamwork, positive morale and customer service demonstrated by excellent patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction scores.Investigates, documents and resolves complaints or incidents concerning patients, visitors, physicians and staff, and notifies the manager of those with sensitive nature.Supports with interviews and orientation for new trainees/employees/students, and supports in evaluation of performances when askedWhat You Will NeedHigh School Required Or Bachelors Degree Preferred Or Masters Degree Preferred3 Years of experience as a Registered Neurophysiology Tech in a teaching hospital. And Registration (minimally in EEG and IOM) by ABRET. And NCV certification preferred.
