Compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products.\n\nEssential Responsibilities and Duties\nProducts By Performing The Following Duties. Essential Responsibilities\n\nInterprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.\n\nSelects products for tests at specified stages in the production process and tests products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.\n\nCreates quality plans based on engineering drawings and specifications.\n\nSelects and uses metrology equipment, including CMM’s.\n\nRecords test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.\n\nEvaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.\n\nRecommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.\n\nPrepares customer required quality documentation.\n\nSets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.\n\nPrepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis.\n\nOther responsibilities assigned from the Quality Manager.\n\nQualifications\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n\nDetailed orientation experience working in manufacturing (preferred).\n\n1-3 months of related experience or training preferred.\n\nAbility to read and understand work instructions, memos, and operating procedures.\n\nAbility to write simple correspondence.\n\nComfortable communicating one-on-one with team members.\n\nBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive pay and benefits, opportunities for training and growth, a supportive, team-focused work environment, consistent hours, and stable workload.\n\nE.K.
