Pipe/Structural Welders & Pipe/Structural Fitters (Boilermakers)

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Combo Pipe/Structural Welders and Combo Pipe/Structural Fitters / Boilmakers Pay Rates: Combo Welders: Up to $31.50/hr Combo Fitters: Up to $31.50/hr Rating & Compensation Structure: Rating depends on skill and behavior Employees must complete two offshore trips (minimum three weeks each) before becoming eligible for A rating Employees will receive at least one week’s notice before any deployment The guaranteed annual amount will be compared to actual earnings and adjusted accordingly with the final payroll in December Requirements: Welders: Must qualify for Carbon Steel (CS) pipe and structural welding Must pass the weld test following WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) Root pass must be done using SMAW (stick) – no back welding allowed Penetration from one side only on structural tests Must read WPS before welding to understand heat, speed, and electrical input Scrap metal provided for practice before the coupon The pipe test will be in 6G position Fitters / Boilermakers: Must work with both pipe and structural components Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings General Requirements (All Candidates): Must be legally authorized to work and travel outside the U.S. Must be willing to go offshore when required Must be flexible to work 84 hrs/week during peak periods and 40 hrs/week during low periods Must be able to understand and follow safety and work instructions in English Late arrivals will not be interviewed Failure to follow safety protocols during the interview will result in immediate dismissal Important Notes for Candidates: This is a high-standard position – please read and understand the WPS before testing 90% of past candidates fail at the root pass due to lack of preparation Candidates must be punctual and safety-conscious Apply With Us Directly: www.oncallstaffinginc.com Call us at 713-812-1976 Or stop by our office for an in-person application — we’ll get you set up with an interview and possibly a job offer on the spot!
