Responsibilities of ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
Work 1:1 with patients in the home, school and community settings
Consistently implement treatment plans (under BCBAs direction) and prepare program materials
Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical notes utilizing data collection software (Central Reach)
Review and implement consultation/supervision, note recommendations
Maintain warm relationship with families and clients
Participate in on-going training, evaluations and meetings, as required
Assist with parent training and clinical assessments, as needed
Communicate effectively with the BCBA regarding learners progress
Submit notes and data in a timely fashion
Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as needed
Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies
Qualifications of a Registered Behavior Technician
MUST HAVE AN RBT CERTIFICATION
High School Diploma (relevant college degree and coursework is preferred)
Desire to work with children, experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred
Availability to work at least 15 hours weekly, including some flexibility regarding schedule changes required to accommodate patient needs
Must have reliable transportation for sessions at patients' homes and schools, and possess a clean driving record and proof of automobile insurance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
