Senior Design Engineer – Steel Utility Structures

ResponsibilitiesOversee daily engineering operations, including personnel management, systems, processes, and continuous improvement activitiesBuild and lead a high‑performing engineering team capable of meeting and exceeding business demandsStrengthen and enforce engineering standards, procedures, and design software capabilities to improve technical outputPartner with cross‑functional leaders to drive process improvements and long‑term operational strategiesEstablish and track productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics while resolving issues through root‑cause analysis and corrective actionsLead major projects, guide continuous improvement training, optimize workflows, and stay current with design software advancementsQualificationsMaster’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred) with over five years of leadership experience in steel utility structures or a related manufacturing environmentStrong proficiency in PLS‑Pole, AutoCAD, 3D design tools, and modern engineering software technologiesSolid understanding of lean and continuous improvement principles, with the ability to identify workflow and cost‑efficiency opportunitiesDeep knowledge of engineering science, fabrication drawing practices, and applied math including algebra and geometryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail‑oriented mindset, and the ability to guide teams and drive resultsAsk for: Aarti ManchandaSalary: $95k - $110k Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
