Workato Integration Engineer-Remote workDuration: 12 Months+Remote workWe are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design, build, and manage enterprise integrations using the Workato middleware platform. This role will be responsible for connecting and orchestrating data across critical business systems including Workday, Rhumbix, ServiceTitan, and COINS ERP.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in data transformation, mapping, and pipeline management, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable data flows across systems. Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration Development, build, and maintain integrations using Workato recipes, APIs, and event-driven workflows.Develop scalable integration patterns (real-time, batch, and hybrid) across enterprise systemsImplement reusable connectors and standardized integration frameworksCollaborate with enterprise architecture to align integrations with long-term platform strategyData Management & TransformationPerform data mapping, normalization, and transformation between source and destination systemsClean, validate, and curate incoming data to ensure accuracy and consistencyDesign and implement data batching strategies for efficient large-volume processingManage schema alignment across systems (HR, finance, project, time tracking, IoT data)System Integration ScopeWorkday (HR, payroll, employee master data)Rhumbix (time tracking, labor data)COINS ERP (job cost, financials, cost codes)ServiceTitan (service operations, dispatch, billing)Samsara (fleet, equipment telemetry, GPS data)Data Pipeline & ReliabilityBuild and maintain robust data pipelines with error handling, retry logic, and idempotencyMonitor integrations for performance, failures, and data integrity issuesImplement logging, alerting, and exception handling frameworksEnsure data reconciliation between systemsGovernance & Best PracticesEstablish data standards, naming conventions, and mapping documentationMaintain version control and CI/CD practices for integration deploymentsSupport master data governance initiativesEnsure security, compliance, and access controls across integrationsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in integration engineering / middleware platformsHands-on experience with Workato (recipes, connectors, APIs, orchestration)Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectureExperience with data transformation, mapping, and ETL processesSolid understanding of enterprise systems integration (ERP, HCM, field systems)Experience handling batch processing and high-volume data pipelines Preferred QualificationsExperience integrating with Workday, COINS ERP, ServiceTitan, Rhumbix, or SamsaraFamiliarity with Azure Integration Services (APIM, Service Bus) or similar platformsKnowledge of data warehousing concepts (star schema, bronze/silver/gold layers)Experience with logging/monitoring tools and observability frameworksBackground in construction, field services, or industrial operations
