This is an exciting career opportunity for someone who loves working with their hands, has mechanical aptitude, and wants to help individuals with limited mobility.What will you do?Install and repair accessibility products including stairlifts, elevators and platform liftsExplain the product to the customer and answer questionsEnter work order and inventory data in the Lifeway computer systemReceive manufacturer training and on-the-job training (paid time)Pick up and load company vehicle at our Danielson location each morningWork on jobs throughout CT and RIWork on both residential and commercial installationsJobs may take several hours to several days (weekends optional)Our Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following QualificationsExperience using hand and power toolsBasic computer skillsStrong customer focus and communication skillsHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to pass drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background screenAbility to drive company vehicle to various client sites and work flexible hours as needed to complete jobsPhysical Requirements Include The FollowingAbility to lift 75+ lbsFrequent overhead workAbility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-roundAbility to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at heightAt Lifeway Mobility, we care about our employees' well-being.
