We're building the world’s leading platform that powers donations to nonprofits globally.\nTo keep our momentum and deliver consistently high value to our partners, we need incredible people to help us on our journey – we need you\nJoin us as Grant Writer to act as our lead Expert Reviewer!\nWe’re looking for an exceptionally thoughtful, detail-driven Grant Delivery Specialist to lead high-quality grant research, writing and review for our nonprofit partners.\nYou’ll help nonprofits access more funding, faster – identifying relevant opportunities, shaping strong applications and making sure every draft is accurate, compelling and genuinely useful.\nIf you have a strong grant writing background, enjoy turning complex programme information into clear funding narratives, and want your work to support organisations doing meaningful social impact work, this could be the perfect role for you.\n\nAs a Grant Writer, your mission will be to:\nSupport nonprofit partners: Lead onboarding, proactive check-ins and clear communication across calls, email and key touchpoints.\nResearch funding opportunities: Identify, evaluate and curate relevant grants tailored to each organisation’s mission, programmes, eligibility and funding needs.\nDraft excellent applications: Write compelling LOIs, grant applications and supporting narratives aligned to funder requirements.\nUse AI to increase quality and pace: Confidently prompt, guide and review AI-assisted outputs to accelerate research, drafting and iteration without compromising accuracy, judgement or tone.\nAct as lead expert reviewer: Review drafts so they are accurate, persuasive, funder-ready and easy for nonprofits to use.\nManage delivery: Balance pace, quality and care across multiple partner relationships, keeping work moving and expectations clear.\nBuild deep context: Work closely with around 10–15 nonprofit partners at any given time, understanding their goals, programmes and impact.\nImprove how we work: Help strengthen our grant support process so we can serve more nonprofits well, without compromising quality.\nAfter 3 months, success will look like:\nProducing high-quality grant drafts at a consistent pace.\nNonprofit partners feel supported, understood, and confident in the work they receive.\nFunding opportunities are well-matched, relevant, and clearly explained.\nAI is used thoughtfully to improve speed, consistency, and quality.\nDrafts are accurate, thoughtful, and tailored to each funder.\nRisks, blockers, or deadline concerns are raised early.\nOur grant support process becomes clearer, stronger, and easier to scale.\nThis role is a perfect match for you if you have:\nA STEM degree from a recognised university, or equivalent evidence of strong analytical thinking.\n5 years’ grant writing experience, ideally for nonprofits, charities or mission-led organisations.\nUnderstanding of funding landscapes, eligibility criteria, funder priorities and what makes a proposal competitive.\nAbility to turn rough context into specific, persuasive, funder-ready narratives.\nConfidence using AI tools to support research, drafting, editing and quality assurance, and know where human judgement must lead.\nAbility to take responsibility, communicate early, and enjoy building in a fast-moving environment.\nAttention to detail; Deadlines, geographic nuances, funding restrictions and structural requirements do not slip past you.\nPartner-first communication; You combine warmth, clarity, and sound judgement in every interaction.\nProcess discipline; Enjoy clear systems, well-managed workflows, and making the slightly messy feel beautifully organised.\nBonus if you have knowledge or love of:\nNonprofit fundraising, philanthropy or corporate social impact.\nTea drinking\n\nAbout us\nSince 2017, Goodstack has been at the forefront of creating a future where good will be built into everything we do.
