This is a hands-on position working primarily in Eagleview’s Flight Systems Laboratory. We are a fast paced, energetic team driven by continuous process improvement. We’re looking for motivated, organized, and independent team members. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies.\n\nThis full-time role, on-site in our Rochester, NY headquarters, and has a pay rate of $20.00 - $24.00/hour.\nResponsibilities:\nAssembly, test, and maintenance of custom camera equipment, including mechanical assembly, startup, and calibration using custom tools and software.\nTest and evaluation of aerial image quality, including identification of image quality root causes and proposal of solutions.\nWork closely with other Technicians as well as the Flight Support team to ensure that cameras are ready when needed.\nCollaborate with Development Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by internal stakeholders.\nDocument service history and hardware deployment in electronic asset tracking system.\nSetup and testing of new or modified custom capture hardware.\nSuggesting production process improvements.\nCollaborate with Software Engineers to improve software tools and identify bugs.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHands-on capability to build mechanical assemblies.\nProficient in Microsoft Suite.\nAbility to lift and move 40 pounds.\nEffective team player.\nAbility to work independently.\nAbility to effectively communicate verbally and through written correspondence.\nPreferred\nTwo- or Four-year college degree in a Science, Technology, or Manufacturing related discipline preferred, but not required.\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize and manage team goals and initiatives amidst competing priorities.\nCritical thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve.\nFamiliarity with principles of digital photography and general construction of digital cameras.\nFamiliarity with Python.\nCore Competencies\n\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate strength in the following competencies as well as foundational competencies which can be found here:\nDrive & Follow Through – Takes initiative and turns ideas into action.\nAdaptability in Uncertainty – Adjusts quickly and performs through change.\nCustomer-Centered Mindset – Puts customer needs at the center of decisions.\nJudgment & Problem Solving – Makes sound decisions and solves problems effectively.\nRole-Specific Expertise – Applies strong functional expertise to deliver results.\nResults Accountability – Owns outcomes and delivers on commitments.\nWork Prioritization & Execution – Focuses on priorities and delivers on time.\nEEO Statement:\nThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that a workforce member in this position may be asked to perform.
