Customers in more than 135 countries depend on Aviat Networks to build, expand, and upgrade their voice, data, and video solutions.The candidate will be responsible for prospecting Aviat's target markets, qualifying accounts, and filling the sales funnel with prospects. Candidate will drive new lead efforts via a mix of social media, email, online, cold calling/telemarketing and other activities. This is an experienced, virtual sales, home‐based contract position paid with base+bonus. The candidate should be comfortable with home office life, including but not limited to, the ability to work assigned territory within North American time zone(s).ResponsibilitiesDevelop new leads via telephone, email and social media outreach (e.g. Linkedin Sales Navigator)Follow up on inbound leads and qualify them based on pre-defined criteriaResearch and discover potential opportunities on subscribed RFP platforms such as GovWin IQ, and GovSpendWork on target accounts, and source and engage with key contacts to identify sales opportunitiesSchedule qualified appointments with customers or prospects for sales managersWork closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts and support lead handoff processesDrive attendance to marketing events such as roadshows, webinars, and tradeshows in NAProvide weekly lead‐gen results to managementWork on other lead‐gen related activities as they ariseRequirementsPrevious experience in inside sales, leadgen or telemarketing position; must have experience/skill set and comfortability with data sourcing, cold calling, scheduling, event promotingWorking knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other marketing and sales tools, such as Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Basic Excel, Teams), Pardot, Salesforce, Zoominfo, DemandBase, etc.Work independently and collaboratively with the team throughout the dayExceptional communication, written, reading, and typing skills in EnglishFast learner; Persistent and results‐orientedHigh school diploma; BSc/Ba is a plusKnowledge of Microwave radios, or wireless network technology preferredThis is a contract opportunity with long term opportunities.Candidate Privacy NoticeWe encourage you to read our Candidate Privacy Notice.
