Build it with us.\r\nSUMMARY The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing modular construction projects from concept through installation. This includes managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, internal cross-functional teams, and client relationships. Unlike traditional construction PM roles, this position requires working within an evolving product ecosystem, contributing to process development, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across design, manufacturing and field operations.\r\nRESPONSIBILTIES Project Planning & Execution Support the project lifecycle from preconstruction and design coordination through factory production, site preparation, installation, and project closeout.\r\nHelp the PMs develop and manage project budgets, schedules, logistics plans, and resource allocations.\r\nWork in conjunction with PMs to oversee procurement, contracts, subcontracts, and change management workflows.\r\nHelp to coordinate between manufacturing teams, design/engineering, robotics teams, and field installation crews to ensure alignment.\r\nCross-Functional Collaboration in a Tech Environment Work closely with product, engineering, and operations to integrate project requirements into modular building systems.\r\nProvide feedback on design for manufacturability (DFM) and installation processes.\r\nParticipate in iterative process development, helping refine workflows, introduce new tools, and identify efficiency opportunities.\r\nCollaborate in a start-up environment where processes evolve quickly, requiring flexibility and a continuous-improvement mindset.\r\nRisk Management & Quality Control Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies across design, production, logistics, and installation stages.\r\nSupport factory and field QA/QC processes, ensuring modular assemblies meet Reframe standards.\r\nEnsure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.\r\nStartup & Innovation Expectations Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.\r\nContribute to developing new internal processes, playbooks, documentation, and best practices.\r\nBe willing to roll up your sleeves, jumping into detailed coordination, problem-solving on the floor, and supporting hands-on tasks when needed.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS Required 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction, modular construction, design-build, real estate development, or a related field.\r\nProven experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and cross-disciplinary teams.\r\nAbility to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings.\r\nExceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.\r\nComfortable using or wanting to learn project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project, BIM tools, or similar).\r\nDemonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and pivot quickly based on evolving conditions.\r\nPreferred Experience in modular construction, prefabrication, manufacturing, robotics, or tech-enabled construction environments.\r\nBackground with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Lean manufacturing principles, or industrialized construction.\r\nFamiliarity with VDC/BIM coordination workflows.\r\nStartup experience or a clear track record of operating in fast-changing environments.\r\nKnowledge of permitting and inspection processes for modular or factory-built housing.\r\nSolutions-oriented problem-solver who thrives on tackling challenges.\r\nFlexible and adaptive, comfortable working through ambiguity and change.\r\nCollaborative team player who builds strong relationships across disciplines.\r\nCurious, innovative, and eager to help redefine how construction gets done.\r\nReframe Systems is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
