Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This full-time, onsite position will have you working closely with school-aged children in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. With assignments and caseloads yet to be determined, you'll experience variety and the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple campuses.Key Qualifications:Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) CertificationValid Colorado Occupational Therapist licenseExperience or strong interest in working with school-aged childrenExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to adapt to new settings and build rapport with students and staffCommitment to fostering student growth and developmentDuties and Responsibilities:Conduct assessments and develop individualized OT interventions tailored to student needsCollaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student access to the general education curriculumImplement evidence-based therapeutic activities to improve students' motor, sensory, and self-care skillsDocument progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as neededManage a diverse caseload with professionalism and flexibility, adjusting to assignments as determined by the districtProvide consultation and training to staff on strategies and equipment to enhance student participationThis contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the school year—enabling a fantastic work-life balance and the opportunity to leave an impact with each assignment.Ready to advance your career in school-based occupational therapy?
