Candidates must be available to work a schedule from Monday 8:30am - 7:30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 10:30am - 7:30pm, and Friday 1:00pm - 7:30pm.\r\nEssential Responsibilities\r\nReads orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.\r\nMoves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designed areas.\r\nMarks materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.\r\nWeighs and counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.\r\nPrepares parcels for mailing.\r\nMaintains orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse. Practices safe work habits.\r\nCompletes other related duties as assigned, customary to department and role.\r\nRequired Education and Experience\r\nMust be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.\r\nAble to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, customer orders, and packing and shipping instructions.\r\nAble to accomplish simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).\r\nAble to stand and walk for long periods of time.\r\nAble to use a RF scanner and computer.\r\nPenn Veterinary Supply is a drug-free workplace.
