DescriptionHybrid 4 days on-site in Englewood, COOur client seeks a Technical Writer to lead content development for an AI SDLC transformation. The role will design curricula, author workflow playbooks, and maintain prompt libraries and developer portal content to scale AI-enabled development practices. The writer will translate technical concepts into accessible training and self-service resources that improve adoption and reduce time-to-value for development teams. The work will align closely with a Developer Advocate and cross-functional stakeholders.Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $35.00 to $40.00/hr. w2ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop comprehensive training curriculum for AI-enabled workflows across foundational, intermediate, and advanced levels.Create certification assessments, rubrics, just-in-time learning resources, and quick-reference guides.Collaborate with the Developer Advocate on training delivery, feedback incorporation, and iteration.Author and maintain workflow playbooks for AI-enabled SDLC activities including coding, testing, debugging, documentation, code review, and security review.Document worked examples, edge cases, and best practices to guide adoption.Create integration guides for IDE, GitLab, and chat-based entry points.Develop FAQs and troubleshooting guides based on real-world issues and feedback.Experience Requirements5+ years of technical writing experience in software development environments.3+ years creating developer-focused documentation such as APIs, SDKs, and developer guides.2+ years developing training curricula or instructional content.Proven experience managing large documentation sets across multiple products or workflows.Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments with rapid iteration cycles.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.Education RequirementsCertifications in technical communication such as STC or CPTC (preferred).
