Material Handlersare a part of the Supply Chain team. They are responsible for the safe handling and management of the inventory supply necessary to successfully fulfill the needs of both manufacturing and business operations.ResponsibilitiesOutlined below is what we see you doing at this point in time. We are a fast-growing company looking for people that are excited to grow along with us.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Ensures orderly and timely distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed.\r\nMaintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.\r\nOrderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.\r\nKeep a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory; assist with weekly cycle counting.\r\nReceive and unload freight, properly verify quantity/quality with Purchase Order record and input into inventory.\r\nAbility to drive a box truck.\r\nUse company box truck to make deliveries to affiliated retail stores.\r\nMust have accountability, proactive behavior, strong attention to detail.\r\nCan follow company policies and contribute towards the goal of achieving targets within set timelines.\r\nA willingness and desire to put in the work to make our mission a reality.\r\nOther duties as assigned.The Experience You Bring and the Skills we Need:1 year of inventory management and/or material handling experience preferred\r\nValid drivers license required\r\nBasic math skills\r\nProficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines\r\nProcess Improvement Mindset\r\nGood communication with team members and documentation skills\r\nAbility to adapt and problem solve in a rapidly growing and changing industry\r\nThis is a dynamic team, and as such daily tasks may vary, resulting in a fast paced and lively work environment.Physical RequirementsRegularly required to sit for long periods of time.\r\nUse hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.\r\nReach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.\r\nOccasionally required to stand and walk.\r\nFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\r\nComfortable working in a greenhouse environment (tolerance of heat & humidity).Why Youd Love This RoleYou have:A high level of professionalism and believe in our founding principles: Cannabis for humanity and Change for the better.
