About The RoleData Analyst - Fleet Operations & AnalyticsOnsite in Foster City, CA | at least 3 days in officeWe are seeking a Data Analyst to support the data systems and reporting that power our autonomous fleetoperations. You'll transform vehicle telemetry, service logs, and operations data into clear insights thatimprove decision-making across operations, safety, and engineering teams. This role focuses onanalytics, reporting, KPI development, and building accessible datasets and dashboards that help teamsunderstand performance and drive improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Reporting Analyze vehicle telemetry, service logs, dispatch data, and operational metrics to identify trends andactionable insights Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for fleet operations, safety, and engineeringstakeholders Define, track, and report on KPIs related to fleet performance, mission success, readiness, andoperational efficiency Ensure datasets used for analysis are accurate, well-structured, and reliableCross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations teams (fleet ops, safety, remote assist) to understand reporting needs andbusiness questions Translate business needs into data insights and reporting solutions in close collaboration withengineering and product teams Enable self-service analytics by creating well-documented datasets, reports, and dashboards Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersOperational Insights & Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies, recurring issues, and performance gaps through data analysis Support operational decision-making with timely, data-driven recommendations Help create structured feedback loops where operational learnings are captured, analyzed, and shared Assist in automating recurring reporting and reducing manual efforts where possibleRequired QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, ora related field 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics-focused roles Experience with operational, logistics, or fleet-related data is a plusTechnical Skills Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and analysis Proficiency in Python for data analysis and reporting preferred Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI) Experience working with large datasets and transforming raw data into actionable insights Familiarity with Databricks or similar analytics platforms is a plusCore Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Excellent communication skills with ability to present insights clearly to varied audiences Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams Skilled at translating business questions into reporting and analytical solutions Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesKey Responsibilities & SkillsVehicle Telemetry AnalysisFleet Operations AnalyticsKPI Development & TrackingDashboard Design & ReportingData Quality & Dataset ManagementCross-Functional CollaborationOperational Insight GenerationProcess Improvement & Efficiency IdentificationSelf-Service Analytics EnablementBusiness Requirements TranslationOperational Decision SupportAutomated Reporting SolutionsTechnical SkillsSQL (Querying & Data Manipulation)Python (Data Analysis)Looker / Tableau / Power BI (Data Visualization)Databricks (Analytics Platform)Large Dataset ManagementData Transformation & ETLEducationBachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science.
