Sober and in recovery? LIVE IN Sober House Manager Position available

Job Summary The Hendrickson House of Sobriety is looking for a house manager to live in our newest home in Chicago. A minimum of 6 months of sobriety is required, 1 year is preferred. The house manager is responsible for intake/outtake of residents, administering drug and alcohol testing, upholding our core values, and ensuring residents follow policies and maintain a clean and safe home. Our house managers live in the home for free with their own private room. 6 month contract. Duties Maintain an alcohol and illicit drug free environment. Live full time in the sober living home Ensure the completion of applications/assessments by pending new residents, and review/approve them with owner, prior to new resident move in. Facilitate new resident orientations, and ensure they sign all required documentation. Collect and review resident weekly work and 12 step meeting schedules Verifies residents pay their weekly fees. Collects if needed Facilitate mandatory weekly resident house meeting Be dedicated to recognizing the dignity and worth of all human beings. Requirements -In sobriety for a minimum of 6 months, 1 year is preferred -Strong desire to help others on their path towards sobriety -Coachable and willing to develop the skills necessary to be a leader -Lives in the home full time (manager gets their own private room) -Upholds our zero tolerance policy Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: Up to $100.00 per month Work Location: In person
