In this role, you will assist in producing precision machined parts by operating manufacturing equipment, inspecting finished products, and supporting daily production activities. You will receive on-the-job training while learning to operate CNC machinery, use precision measuring tools, and follow quality and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who is looking to start a career in manufacturing.\nResponsibilities\nOperate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipment following work instructions and established procedures.\nProduce quality parts that meet specifications while maintaining production goals.\nMeasure and inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.\nMonitor tool wear and report when tool changes are needed.\nComplete production, inspection, and process documentation accurately.\nDeburr, wash, count, and prepare parts for final inspection.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including basic machine cleaning and preventative maintenance.\nReport production, quality, or safety concerns.\nWork collaboratively with team members to support efficient production and continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience & Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nManufacturing or machine shop experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate.\nMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn CNC machining processes.\nAbility to read and follow work instructions and blueprints.\nBasic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals.\nStrong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to producing quality work.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.\nJoin Our Team\nIf you're dependable, eager to learn, and interested in starting a career in manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
