In this role, you’ll perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on equipment, facilities, and grounds to keep operations running safely and efficiently.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in maintaining equipment and facilities, and can work independently when needed.What You’ll DoMaintenance & RepairPerform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance with minimal supervisionConduct routine inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and cleaningMaintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and transportation systemsLearn and follow the company’s preventive maintenance programRecommend spare parts and preventative maintenance improvements to enhance reliability and efficiencyFacilities & GroundsPerform outdoor maintenance work year-round, including snow removal, concrete patching, and vehicle cleaningSupport general building and facility upkeep as neededVendor & Contractor SupportCoordinate with outside service providers and contractorsObtain estimates and support cost-effective maintenance solutionsAssist with the execution and completion of contracted workSafety & ComplianceFollow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety cultureAssist with safety initiatives across the facilityParticipate on the Safety CommitteeDevelop working knowledge of fire suppression and security systemsPerform other duties, projects, and maintenance tasks as assigned.What You BringRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and transportation systemsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to learnBasic reading, writing, and math skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelValid driver’s licensePreferred QualificationsAssociate degree or technical certificationAbility to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and troubleshooting guidesExperience with CNC mills and lathesExperience with control systems and 3-phase electrical powerWorking knowledge of HVAC systemsForklift and scissor lift experiencePhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and climb throughout the workdayAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work at heights using ladders and platformsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noiseAbility to perform repetitive tasks using hands, arms, and toolsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons, including inclement weatherVisual and manual dexterity required to safely perform maintenance and repairsAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Pre-Employment RequirementsAll offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
