You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As an ATG Developer, you will leverage the latest ATG eCommerce technologies to lead enterprise-level eCommerce initiatives by designing and developing an ATG commerce platform through database design, application development, and J2EE apps. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps environment is required.Responsibilities:Analyze, design, and implement commerce features such as product, catalog, search, cart and checkout on the ATG Commerce platform (ATG 11.x).Effectively give and receive a thorough design and/or code review following documented coding standards and design templateDevelop and perform effective unit testing proceduresInvolved in project from startup through implementation to ensure all aspects of the technology plan are accounted for, understood, defined and executed successfullyProvide estimates for development work and meets deadlinesWork in an open environment, team settingWork with Business Analysts and Solution Managers to address requirement questionsWork closely with Business Analysts to design scalable solutions to problemsWork with other team members on medium and large-sized projectsWork with peers, team leads and supervisors in a collaborative and shared-learning environmentParticipate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to managementWork with both co-located and distributed teamsWork with third-party software providers to ensure solutions meet the needs of our clientProvide mentorship to other developersRequired skills:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering.A Bachelor's Degree in computer related field is required to perform at expectation8+ years programming experience in JavaExtensive experience with the ATG Commerce platformExperience with JBOSS, Linux, and Automated Software Development Tools (Jenkins, GIT, JUNIT)Knowledge of Web Security best practicesExperience working with relational databases, Oracle and/or SQL ServerAbility to organize and prioritize workAbility to multi-task with multiple pieces of workAbility to effectively work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentKnowledge of the software development lifecycle methodologies, processes and proceduresAptitude for analyzing data and business processesDemonstrates the ability to follow instructions, while also applying learned knowledgeAdvanced understanding of Application Software systemsAbility to effectively communicate both in writing and verballyKnowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)Ability to stay up to date with current technology enhancementsWork experience in a complete agile environment along with knowledge of agile processes and ceremonies.Desired skills:Knowledge and experience in the below domainsUnderstanding UX Design conceptsKnowledge of AWS/GCP/Microsoft AzureUnderstanding of Jenkins and other Pipeline Automation related technologiesAgile certificationsAbout us: Founded in 2007, InterSources Inc is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) & Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Certified Company specializing in providing IT Consulting, IT Staffing Solutions, and Software solutions.
