This role is responsible for supporting technical execution, engineering coordination, project delivery, startup readiness, and operational success for highly complex industrial utility systems associated with advanced manufacturing facilities. This can be a fully remote job.\n\nThe successful candidate will work closely with the Microelectronics Project Manager / Execution Coordinator and multidisciplinary engineering teams to support engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, startup, qualification, and operational turnover activities.\n\nThis role differs from a traditional Project Engineer position by requiring direct experience supporting advanced manufacturing or semiconductor-related industries along with strong multidisciplinary coordination and technical execution capabilities within highly schedule-driven and technically demanding environments.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Engineering and Execution Support\nSupport technical execution and coordination for microelectronics utility infrastructure projects.\nWork closely with the Project Manager / Execution Coordinator to support engineering integration, schedule alignment, issue resolution, and execution coordination.\nCoordinate activities between process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls (I&C), automation, procurement, fabrication, construction, and startup teams.\nReview and support development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangements (GA), utility integration drawings, control philosophies, and startup documentation.\nMonitor engineering deliverables, action items, document status, and technical interfaces to support timely project execution.\nSupport engineering reviews of vendor quotations, equipment submittals, purchase requisitions, and technical compliance evaluations.\nCoordinate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), customer comments, and interdisciplinary technical issues.\nSupport technical reviews including constructability reviews, operability reviews, maintainability reviews, and risk assessments.\nAssist in development and implementation of project standards, startup procedures, commissioning plans, checklists, and Best Known Methods (BKMs).\nConstruction, Startup, and Operational Readiness\nSupport field execution activities including installation reviews, field coordination, commissioning support, startup planning, and operational turnover.\nParticipate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), integrated testing, and startup activities.\nCoordinate with construction teams, startup teams, operations personnel, subcontractors, and customers.\nSupport troubleshooting and resolution of technical and field execution issues.\nSupport turnover package development, punch list tracking, and startup readiness activities.\nAssist with operational stabilization and system performance verification activities.\nSupport accelerated startup schedules and schedule recovery efforts as required.\nCustomer and Organizational Interface\nInterface directly with customers, vendors, engineering organizations, and construction teams.\nWork effectively within matrix organizations across multiple disciplines and geographies.\nParticipate in customer meetings, technical reviews, startup meetings, and execution planning sessions.\nSupport coordination between global engineering centers, fabrication teams, site teams, and execution organizations.\nMaintain strong communication and collaboration across project stakeholders.\nSupport development of repeatable microelectronics execution methodologies and organizational best practices.\nThis position differs from a traditional Project Engineer role by focusing heavily on semiconductor and advanced manufacturing project execution, multidisciplinary engineering coordination, startup and operational readiness support, and technical integration across engineering, construction, startup, and operations organizations.\nBenefits:\nAquatech offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, company-paid holidays, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).\nEssential Functions:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
