Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.\r\nFollow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.\r\nMaintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\nMay be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.\r\nBasic QualificationsHigh school graduate or GED.\r\nBe passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.\r\nMust be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.\r\nMust be willing to work the third shift.\r\nMust have a good attendance record.\r\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S.\r\nPreferred QualificationsExperience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.\r\nPossess an understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may vary.\r\nKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMust be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.\r\nAbility to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.\r\nExcellent communication skills.\r\nThrive in a cross-functional team environment.\r\nWork with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.\r\nStrong verbal communication skills.\r\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.\r\nCompensation and BenefitsStarting salary for position: $20.97 per hour.\r\nBonus: AnnualBased upon achievement of plant performance metrics.\r\nPaid vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.\r\nPaid holidays.\r\nWithin the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and visionand are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.\r\nUpon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan.
