The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and hands-on experience with SAP and Power BI/Power Apps.This position will work closely with Data Management Analysts and internal business stakeholders to process and analyze data, develop reports, automate routine processes, and deliver accurate, actionable insights.Location & Work ArrangementCandidates outside the Dublin, CA area are welcome to apply.The role is expected to be fully remote.Candidates located near Dublin should be open to working from the Dublin office approximately one day per week, preferably Wednesday.Occasional office visits may be required based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesManage standard and routine data analysis projects from initial request through final presentation of results.Ensure assigned projects are completed accurately, on time, and within established requirements.Work with Data Management Analysts and business stakeholders to process, analyze, and report operational data.Develop and maintain automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery.Perform data manipulation, validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy.Manage standard data extracts, reports, and list pulls for operational analysis and business needs.Transfer and prepare data from databases and other sources for use by analysts and business teams.Analyze data using statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.Develop ad hoc reports, statistical summaries, trends, and data profiles.Create clear, concise, and actionable data analyses for internal clients and stakeholders.Identify data quality issues and work with appropriate teams to resolve discrepancies.Support reporting and dashboard development using tools such as Power BI and Power Apps.Utilize Excel and other analytical tools to organize, analyze, visualize, and present complex data.Communicate analytical findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum 2 years of related data analysis or business analytics experience.Deep proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, graphing, and reporting.Hands-on experience working with SAP.Experience with Power BI and/or Power Apps.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work with large datasets and identify trends, inconsistencies, and actionable insights.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with utility operations or the energy industry.Experience with Microsoft Access.Experience writing SQL queries, preferably with Oracle or Business Objects.Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and reporting processes.Experience developing automated reporting or data-processing routines.Familiarity with UNIX shell programming, including C Shell, AWK, SED, or VI.Knowledge of SAS and programming languages such as Visual Basic, Perl, or C.Experience working with operational or enterprise data systems.Ability to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner.Top SkillsAdvanced Microsoft ExcelSAP experiencePower BI / Power AppsData analysis and reportingSQL / database experienceData cleansing and automationWhat You'll DoIn this role, you will help transform operational data into meaningful business insights.
