Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.\n\nThe primary purpose of the Development Engineer is to develop and implement new product manufacturing processes and production tooling.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelops, evaluates, and implements manufacturing methods and process planning.\n\nCoordinates the manufacturing launch of new products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.\n\nDesigns, develops and test and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommend manufacturing methods.\n\nPerforms products/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.\n\nRepresents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.\n\nMonitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of manufacturing processes through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating personnel.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\n\nMaintain housekeeping at and around department. Apply 6s principles to all areas of the plant.\n\nWear all personal protective equipment necessary to task and area.\n\nFollow all quality systems and Client's operating procedures as applies to certifications, duties, and training matrix.\n\nFollow all Client's rules and regulations, including safety rules.\n\nPerform any other duties deemed necessary by management.\n\nKey Performance Measures\n\nProject Completion and Accuracy\n\nEBITA & Cost Savings\n\nOTIF & Customer Satisfaction Ratings\n\nSafety Engagement\n\nQualifications and Experience\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in related field preferred.\n\nThree plus years in NPDI engineering, preferably sheet metal fabrication of high nickel based alloys for the aerospace market, or related field with proven skills.\n\nKnowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.\n\nAbility to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.\n\nExcellent cognitive and analytical skills, and reading and writing skills.\n\nStrong computer background, organizational, planning, and typing skills.\n\nEffective communication skills and human relations skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.\n\nAbility to work well in a team environment.\n\nExport Control / ITAR Compliance\n\nAccess to the facility is restricted under U.S. export control regulations.
