In this role, you will develop and execute methodologies and test content for system-level hardware, firmware, and software validation on machine learning systems built with AMD technologies. You will work closely with architecture, design, and post-silicon teams to identify and resolve complex system issues, enhancing future debug and test features across AMD platforms.\nThis position includes developing automation, refining validation processes, executing test cases, analyzing data, and driving system-level quality across AMD’s product portfolio. You are analytical, proactive, highly organized, and able to balance hands-on debugging with test development and automation improvements. You value clarity, continuous learning, and driving measurable improvements in system validation.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nCreate and execute test procedures to validate the design of system components on next-generation machine learning architectures, including CPU/GPU/Memory/BIOS/BMC/I/O/Storage/Networking.\nTranslate system specifications into comprehensive system integration test plans.\nImprove system-level integration test strategies, methodologies, and processes.\nCollaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to debug and resolve complex issues.\nDevelop and enhance automation features based on product and infrastructure requirements.\nMonitor and analyze the execution of automated tests at scale (hundreds to thousands of systems).\nParticipate in lab management activities such as inventory control, lab compliance, and hardware installation, reconfiguration, and rework.\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE\nExperience designing, executing, or improving system validation, including CPU, GPU, memory, BIOS, BMC, networking, and storage subsystems.\nFamiliarity with system integration workflows and identifying HW/FW/SW interaction issues.\nHands-on experience analyzing system logs, debugging failures, or conducting root-cause isolation.\nExposure to automation frameworks, scripting, or continuous validation environments.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with architecture, design, post-silicon, and software engineering teams.\nComfortable working in lab environments, including system bring-up, hardware configuration, and rework.\n\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field\nMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred\n\nLocation\nSecaucus, NJ\n\n#LI-JE1\nQualifications:\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
