This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge server solutions for data centers and enterprise computing.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\nComprehensive Validation Testing: Conduct thorough and rigorous validation testing for motherboards, server systems, and associated components to ensure high quality, stability, and compliance with industry specifications\nTest Automation: Contribute to the development of test utilities and automate test script procedures to streamline validation processes and increase efficiency\nTest Plan Development: Enhance and maintain validation test plans and test instructions, ensuring they reflect the most current testing strategies and methodologies\nTesting Spectrum: Perform an array of tests, including functionality, compatibility, performance, stress, and reliability testing, adhering to established protocols and standards\nData Analysis and Documentation: Document test results and analyze test data, record findings and observations. Report hardware and software quality assurance issues using established bug tracking systems\nOS Support and Analysis: Offer adept driver/application analysis and support, leveraging comprehensive understanding and expertise in both Linux and Windows operating systems\nIssue Resolution: Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to address quality issues, driving resolution through systematic investigation and collaboration\nQualifications:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Engineering (CE) from an accredited institution preferred\n1-2 years' proven experience as an Application Validation Engineer or in a relevant field, demonstrating expertise in server hardware validation and testing methodologies\nProficient in Python, C, C++, Shell scripting\nPossess a solid understanding of Server Hardware (CPU/GPU/MEM/PCIe/Storage) and Computer Architecture, along with strong knowledge of Networking/TCPIP\nProficiency in Linux and Windows Operating Systems is essential for this role\nExperience in server firmware development/validation is a plus (BIOS/BMC/CPLD/EEPROM)\nExperience in hyper-scale, data center and/or rack level validation/deployment/operation is a big plus\nExhibit a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of validation testing and documentation\nSalary Range\n$90,000 - $105,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
