Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionPrepare accurate, timely cost estimates for civil and foundation construction projectsReview plans, specifications, bid documents, and scope requirementsPerform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted workPartner with operations and field teams to validate production assumptions, constructability, and execution strategySolicit and compare vendor and subcontractor pricingIdentify scope gaps, risk items, and value-engineering opportunities before submissionBuild and organize bid proposals, clarifications, and supporting estimate documentationMaintain pricing history, estimate templates, and bid tracking informationSupport handoff of awarded work to project management and operations teamsQualifications3+ years of directly relevant civil estimating experienceBackground in foundations, concrete, sitework, earthwork, drilling, or heavy civil strongly preferredStrong plan-reading, takeoff, and bid-preparation skillsComfortable working with spreadsheets, plans, and estimate backup documentationOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids and deadlinesAble to communicate clearly with field, operations, vendors, and leadershipWhy You Will Love Working HereYou will be joining a team that values ownership, execution, and practical problem-solving.
