This role integrates day‑to‑day operations management, end‑to‑end program leadership, and business development / growth enablement to ensure the organization delivers high‑quality outcomes while expanding revenue, customers, and capabilities.What You'll Be DoingOperations ManagementSupport daily operational performance across programs, teams, and functional areasEstablish and maintain operational processes, metrics, and controlsEnsure staffing, resource allocation, and workload balance align with prioritiesDrive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and delivery consistencyManage vendor, subcontractor, and partner performance where applicableEnsure compliance with organizational policies, contracts, and regulatory requirementsOutcome Focus: Stable, scalable, and efficient operations that support growth.Program & Portfolio ManagementOwn end‑to‑end program execution from initiation through delivery and closeoutEnsure programs meet scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance objectivesLead risk, issue, and dependency management across the program portfolioServe as primary escalation point for program challenges and trade‑offsPrepare and deliver executive‑level program reviews and status briefingsEnsure customer satisfaction and contract performance commitments are metOutcome Focus: Predictable delivery, strong customer trust, and measurable results.Business Development & Growth EnablementPartner with executive leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunitiesSupport capture, proposal, and bid efforts through operational and program expertiseShape solutions, staffing models, and delivery approaches for new opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to enable organic growthIdentify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and programsContribute to pricing, resourcing, and risk assessments for growth initiativesOutcome Focus: Sustainable revenue growth aligned with operational capability.Leadership & GovernanceAct as a trusted advisor to executives on execution, risk, and growth decisionsBuild, lead, and mentor high‑performing managers and program leadersEstablish clear accountability, decision rights, and governance structuresDrive a culture of ownership, transparency, and resultsAlign teams around strategic priorities and execution disciplineOutcome Focus: Strong leadership bench and disciplined execution culture. Required QualificationsMinimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, program management, or business leadershipBachelor’s Degree or additional years of experience in lieu of degree is required (an advanced degree is preferred)Must have an active Top Secret ClearanceDemonstrated success leading complex programs and teamsExperience supporting or leading business development / growth effortsStrong financial, operational, and risk management acumenProven ability to communicate effectively with executives, customers, and teamsAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on executionPreferred QualificationsExperience managing multi‑program portfoliosPrior P&L or budget ownershipExperience in regulated, government, or contract‑driven environmentsPMP, PgMP, MBA, or equivalent leadership trainingExperience scaling teams or operations during growth phasesAn active Poly is preferred but not requiredSecurity Clearance RequirementAn active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
