The Accounting Manager is responsible for delivering high-level support to the Controller and the Treasury & Finance Director.Requirements Assist with month end process, such as bank reconciliations, intercompany transaction reconciliation, inventory reporting, general ledger adjustments etc. Execute Account Receivable and Account Payable reconciliations and follow up with sales team and vendors Responsible for monthly fixed assets, prepaids, and accrued expense schedules, and make any necessary journal entries to accounting system. The Accounting Manager coordinates with accounting team to prepare timely monthly financial statements Work with other departments on expense reporting process and generate monthly variance analysis TEPA report Assist accounting team with monthly auction analysis preparation Generate accounting reports requested internally and externally as needed Cost analysis reporting Manage company monthly and quarterly sales tax filing process Assist with annual 1099 reporting process Assist in managing the external annual audit process for the regional, international and group financials Partner with the accounting team on any accounting issues requiring assistance or support for any tax reporting Assist with any ad hoc projects as required. Please note that these are the basic responsibilities but not limited to any other projects that are needed based on our needs.Requirements: Proven working experience as a senior accountant 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience Great Plains and Management Reporter knowledge preferred Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with creating financial statements and external audits Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; Access, database, or other system knowledgeEducation Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license preferred.We are looking for someone with high energy and ability to deliver in a timely manner.
