The work includes eliciting and capturing business requirements, designing and implementing efficient and effective solutions using the APEX tool suite. Troubleshooting, maintaining and modernizing existing applications. Communicating effectively with AOI and client's project leadership and other staff. The ideal candidate shall have proven track record in full-stack application. Must be proficient in SQL back ends. This individual will be required to work closely with AOI, its client's and/or any third-party staff, including subject matter and technical experts, project managers, etc. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDemonstrable proficiency with:\nSQL\nJavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, XML, HTML5, CSS,\nSOAP based Web Services\nSupport the development and application of best-practices, program standards and conventions\nAbility to analyze and refactor existing code to enhance performance, functionality and maintainability\nFamiliarity with all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to support all phases of the SDLC including O&M support and disposition\nEnthusiasm, positive attitude, superb work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of projects as a team player are necessary\nThis position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time-management skills\nSuccessful candidate must clear a background screen\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experience\nExperience/Skills:\n0-1 years of direct experience in application development\nPrior production support and software O&M experience\nVersion control systems (SVN, Git)\nPreferred Skills:\nOracle SQL, PL/SQL, and/or APEX certifications\nAgile development / DevSecOps\nPrior experience working in a government setting\nUS work-authorization\n\nSalary and Benefit Information:\nThe likely salary range for this position is $50,000 - $51,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
