Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) AssistantLocation: Cambridge (On-Campus)Duration: 2-Month Assignment (Starting June 1)Pay Rate: $25/hour (Maximum 14 hours per week)Job OverviewThe Audio Visual (AV) Assistant will support on-campus technical operations related to audio-visual equipment and presentations. This role involves assisting users, ensuring smooth AV setup and troubleshooting basic technical issues while delivering excellent customer service.Work ScheduleCandidates must be able to commit to one of the following fixed shifts:Shift Option 1:7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (7 hours)Monday & Tuesday OR Wednesday & ThursdayShift Option 2:2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (7 hours)Monday & Tuesday OR Wednesday & ThursdayKey ResponsibilitiesProvide support for audio-visual equipment setup and operationAssist faculty, staff, and students with presentation and AV needsTroubleshoot basic technical issues related to AV systemsEnsure meeting rooms and classrooms are properly equipped and functionalEscalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams when requiredMaintain a high level of customer service and professionalismQualifications & SkillsStrong communication and customer service skillsBasic knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systemsFamiliarity with office and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Zoom, etc.)Ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyDetail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn new technologies
