The candidate analyzes user needs and develops software solutions, designs or customizes software to optimize operational efficiency.\r\nWhat you will do\r\nDevelop programs or scripts according to specification and established coding standards.\r\nAnalyze, review and test for accuracy and optimal implementation of developed solutions.\r\nAnalyze current business systems, determine scope and estimate for tasks related to issues to be resolved.\r\nPerform integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability and optimal performance.\r\nConstruct various software components and validate completeness and quality.\r\nEstablish and enforce coding standards for programs or scripts.\r\nAnalyze and resolve program/script or system failures.\r\nMay facilitate formal code reviews for programs/scripts.\r\nPerform software system maintenance, support and requirement analysis.\r\nAssist in designing GUI and software components.\r\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.\r\nWhen you will work\r\nMonday to Friday, 8am to 5pm\r\nHybrid schedule, 4 days in office in Wyoming, MI with 1 day remote\r\nWhat you'll bring to the table\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred\r\nThree to five years previous software development experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.\r\nMust have good written and verbal communication skills as well as good organizational and problem-solving capabilities.\r\nMust have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.\r\nProficient in one or more program languages, operating systems and databases.\r\nAdditional Information\r\nGordon Food Service values our customers and understands that their success is largely dependent upon their workforce.
