Technical Resource Manager - Quality Assurance @ Mastech Digital | IT Recruitment, Team LeadershipPosition Title: IT SDLC Project ManagerDuration: 12+ Months Contract work with huge possible extensionWork Location: (Remote) Client in Short Hills, NJCandidate must have migrated Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket from Data Center to CloudResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocationCoordinate and lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaborationIdentify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential issuesMonitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholdersConduct project evaluations and post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvementEnsure adherence to project management best practices and industry standardsFoster a positive team environment, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharingStay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within projectsAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environmentQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in SDLC and Project Management roles combinedIn-depth knowledge of Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and BitbucketExperience in configuring and integrating Atlassian applications with each otherFamiliarity with Atlassian Cloud offerings and differences between Data Center and Cloud instancesProven experience in migrating Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket from Data Center to CloudAbility to manage end-to-end migration projects, including assessment, planning, execution, and testing, with experience in managing large-scale IT projectsExperience in troubleshooting, resolving migration issues, and optimizing performance post-migration and upgrade/manage pluginsFamiliarity with data migration tools and techniques, understanding data security and compliance requirementsExperience in automating Jira processes using the ScriptRunner plugin and proficiency in Groovy scripting for custom Jira automation and enhancementsSkills in implementing organizational change management strategies to ensure user adoption post-migrationUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and how they can be applied to project management and Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its various modelsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: Project Management#J-18808-Ljbffr
