{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"edf60fb1535bb1c214ee5bb3","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/edf60fb1535bb1c214ee5bb3","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/edf60fb1535bb1c214ee5bb3","title":"Network Infrastructure Security Engineer","description":"Job Description:\n\nShort Description:\n\nNetwork Security Engineer\n\nComplete Description:\nEmployment Type: W2/ 1099\n\nSenior Network Security Engineer II supports the ongoing design, implementation, operation and security of the Client network and the supporting security infrastructure.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities:\n\nAbility to monitor and analyze data traffic patterns within the Client network infrastructure;\n\nIdentify network problems and recommend improvements to ensure optimal performance;\n\nAbility to improve network quality regarding any degradation;\n\nAbility to enhance security and knowledge of the latest security threats, worms and malware and advise on how to deter them;\n\nAbility to ensure reliability and stability of the work through the above actions;\n\nConfigure routers, switches, firewalls and other appliances in compliance with Client security standards\n\nMonitor security measures in place within network perimeter, ensuring breaches do not occur and information is safeguarded from unauthorized access;\n\nProactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of complex technical issues, responding with an appropriate sense or urgency to problems escalated to Network Engineer’s level;\n\nCoordinate with appropriate personnel to determine positive solutions that increase end user satisfaction, following through to completion, and communicating resolution results;
