The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), along with demonstrated success in delivering complex programs within budget, scope, and schedule. This role requires excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills to effectively manage multi-disciplinary teams and ensure compliance with all DoD regulations and contract requirements.\r\nResponsibilities:\r\nOversee the execution of DoD contracts, ensuring alignment with project objectives, contractual obligations, and regulatory compliance.\r\nServe as the primary liaison between the company, DoD clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.\r\nEnsure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations throughout the program lifecycle.\r\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of DoD contracting policies, procedures, and industry trends.\r\nLead the Customer Focus Team to deliver exceptional levels of customer service and satisfaction, fostering engagement and accountability among team members.\r\nChampion continuous improvement and lean activities, driving excellence in our programs and services.\r\nCollaborate with the team to present issues and provide viable alternatives to the customer.\r\nEnsure accurate interpretation and execution of contractual requirements by the CFT.\r\nOversee Tactical Customer Support, working with the CFT to align customer demand with SMTC's capabilities.\r\nConduct effective kick-offs and Manufacturing Readiness Reviews to ensure seamless project execution.\r\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of the program's financial metrics.\r\nImplement Product Change Notices (PCN's) effectively, ensuring appropriate pricing.\r\nEscalate issues as needed through internal site management and executive teams.\r\nStay updated on the customer's life cycle plan for assemblies and product lines.\r\nCoordinate timely execution of quotes for existing customers.\r\nMaintain and nurture the customer relationship with an advocacy attitude and dedication to excellence.\r\nProvide timely responses to customer requests, offering clear answers and commitments.\r\nFacilitate and support Quarterly Business Reviews, driving closure on subsequent actions.\r\nCoordinate customer site visits as required.\r\nOccasional travel may be necessary to meet business needs (approximately 25% of the time).\r\nAdditional duties as assigned by management.\r\nEducation and Experience for the Sr. Program Manager:\r\nA minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required for this position.\r\nExperience of 7 years is required for this position, assuming education requirements are met.
