The Dev Ops engineer must be able to design, build and maintain various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines) to ensure site/system reliability as they design, plan, and test.Four Diamond Service Agreement\r\nAll Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino.Key ResponsibilitiesServes as an advocate for quality practices including the development of automated testing to improve business processesDocuments, designs and re‑designs various processes to continually improve service to the organizationManages CI & CD tools and pipeline as a partner to development teamsAccountable for the quality development of enabling automation, application development, infrastructure development and overall IT service improvementCreates and maintains configuration standards for software and infrastructureDevelops Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities through software development, guiding vendor and product selection and developing standardsServes as a thought leader and partner to security, compliance and architecture teamsPerforms other job related duties as neededAccountability: This position has no supervisory duties or responsibilities. Incumbent is responsible for protecting the assets of Pechanga Resort and Casino and for maintaining and providing a positive and professional work environment.Qualifications and Guidelines\r\nExperience / Training / Education: Required Associate level degree in computer science, management information systems or undergraduate level certificate in programming with a combination of work‑experience. At least 5 years’ experience is required to successfully perform this job. Understanding and experience of Agile and Dev Ops methodologies preferred. Two or more years of experience in a Gaming environment preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be combined in lieu of degree/experience requirements.Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class “A” gaming license.Skills / AbilitiesExperience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Ansible, Chef or an equivalent.Experience with shell scripting languages (Powershell, BASH, etc.)Demonstrated experience installing, operating and troubleshooting a variety of open source technologies.Strong experience with relational and non‑relational databases.
