The technician will serve as the primary local technical resource supporting end users, desktop systems, mobile devices, manufacturing-connected technology, printers, scanners, and site infrastructure initiatives.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nEnd User Support\nProvide onsite deskside support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues affecting desktops, laptops, workstations, and mobile devices.\nTroubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system, application, and peripheral device issues.\nDeliver Microsoft 365 and business productivity application support.\nAssist end users with account access, device setup, and day-to-day technical support needs.\nProvide VIP and executive-level technical support as required.\nDevice Deployment & Lifecycle Management\nImage, configure, deploy, and replace desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.\nPerform hardware upgrades, break/fix repairs, and warranty coordination activities.\nExecute device refreshes, migrations, and asset lifecycle management processes.\nMaintain accurate asset inventory records and tracking documentation.\nSupport device patching, compliance, and security requirements in accordance with customer standards.\nSite Technology Support\nSupport printers, label printers, handheld scanners, RF devices, and other workplace technology.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing and operational endpoint devices, as well as site-specific technologies.\nAssist with laboratory systems, virtual machine environments, and operational technology (OT) systems as directed.\nSet up, maintain, and support conference rooms, audio/visual equipment, and collaboration technologies.\nInfrastructure & Smart Hands Support\nProvide onsite \"smart hands\" support for infrastructure and network teams.\nAssist with network hardware activities, including switches, wireless access points, UPS systems, and related equipment, following established procedures.\nSupport cabling, rack installations, and technology deployment projects.\nParticipate in site moves, adds, changes, and infrastructure upgrade initiatives.\nCoordinate with remote engineering and support teams during maintenance, troubleshooting, and project activities.\nService Delivery & Operational Excellence\nManage incidents, service requests, and work orders through ServiceNow or approved ticketing systems.\nMeet established service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain accurate ticket documentation.\nCommunicate effectively with end users, site leadership, and cross-functional support teams.\nIdentify recurring issues and recommend process improvement opportunities.\nEnsure compliance with customer security, safety, and operational policies and standards.\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience providing desktop, deskside, field, or end-user technical support.\nStrong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.\nProficiency with ServiceNow or similar IT service management (ITSM) and ticketing platforms.\nUnderstanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and basic network troubleshooting.\nExperience supporting printers, scanners, peripheral devices, and mobile technologies.\nStrong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.\nExcellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting technology in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments.\nHands-on experience with Zebra or other enterprise label printing solutions.\nFamiliarity with network infrastructure components, including switches, wireless access points, and related hardware.\nExperience providing Smart Hands support for network, server, and infrastructure teams.\nKnowledge of asset management, inventory tracking, and hardware lifecycle programs.\nIndustry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent technical certifications.\n\nWage Range:\nThe hourly rate for this position is between $22.50 - $30.00 per hour.
