Commercial Sales Manager

The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing the dealership’s commercial and fleet sales division across John Jones Auto Group locations. This role focuses on building strong relationships with local businesses, municipalities, and organizations to drive vehicle sales, increase market share, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic plan to grow commercial and fleet salesIdentify, prospect, and build relationships with local businesses, contractors, and government entitiesMaintain and expand a pipeline of qualified commercial accountsManage the full sales cycle from lead generation to delivery and follow-upCustomize vehicle solutions based on client needs, including upfitting, financing, and leasingWork closely with OEM fleet programs and ensure compliance with manufacturer requirementsCoordinate with service, parts, and finance departments to support commercial clientsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needsTrack and report sales performance, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term retentionHandle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues professionallyMaintain accurate CRM records and documentation for all commercial dealsQualificationsPrevious automotive sales experience required; commercial or fleet experience preferredProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong networking and relationship-building skillsExcellent negotiation, communication, and closing skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordPreferred QualificationsExperience with fleet management or B2B salesKnowledge of commercial vehicle upfitting and specificationsFamiliarity with manufacturer fleet programsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation package (base salary plus commission and/or bonus structure) Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysEmployee discounts
