Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
Service vehicles by performing tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work to ensure safety and reliability.
Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic modules.
Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service.
Assist with auto estimating processes by accurately assessing repair needs and parts requirements for dealership
Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair across various vehicle makes and models.
Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous; experience with diesel engine repair is a plus.
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and ADAS calibration techniques.
Prior service technician experience involving transmissions, powertrain components, wheel alignments, and general vehicle maintenance is essential.
Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating proficiency to deliver quality service experiences. Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
