This role demands technical proficiency, autonomous execution, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent permits with minimal oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently prepare, submit, and track permit applications across jurisdictions (municipal, county, DOT, railroad, DOI, TXDOT, etc.). Coordinate multi-agency permitting workflows, ensuring Traffic Control Plans (TCP), Traffic Management Plans (TMP), and other critical documents are accurately submitted and tracked. Engage directly with permitting authorities to secure approvals and resolve issues proactively. Manage multiple permits simultaneously, monitoring status, deadlines, and follow-up actions effectively. Perform detailed reviews of permit plans for compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Maintain clear, organized correspondence and documentation for internal stakeholders and permitting agencies. Support internal teams with permitting logistics and guidance, ensuring deadlines are met. QualificationsMinimum of 3+ years of permit coordination experience in telecom, utilities, or construction sectors. Proficiency with AutoCAD 3D, Traffic Control Plans (TCP), and multi-agency permitting processes. Demonstrated ability to manage, track, and close multiple permits independently. Experience liaising directly with permitting authorities and navigating complex regulatory environments. Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management capabilities. Proficient in standard software tools such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Self-starter with an ability to adapt to evolving guidelines and shifting priorities.
