H4 Enterprises Is Currently Seeking The FollowingInsider Threat Program Communications Specialist- Mid to SeniorPosition SummaryThis position supports the organization's communications and training efforts, including digital marketing content creation and design for monthly campaigns, programmatic outreach, messaging to the broader workforce, and development of graphics and visual materials. The Communications Specialist assists in the development of written documents, graphic presentations, videos, newsletters, and other marketing materials. The contractor provides support to the program manager and/or communications lead and team by assisting in the implementation of communications programs, both internal and external, that effectively describes and promotes the organization and its capabilities.RELATIONSHIPSThe Communications Specialist will receive direct government oversight, assignments, and directions from the Office Director, Insider Threat Program, through an assigned team leader.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreates and manages production of marketing material to include internal communications blasts, internal newsletter, and development of an editorial calendar to be produced in coordination with other contributors as necessary with ghost writing, editing, design, and distributionFormulates the execution of the organization's communications strategy while developing and implementing monthly campaigns to support the overall strategyRecommends content for social media campaigns and website to support external relations activitiesDevelops graphics and visual elements for Intranet website, marketing material, and presentationsDevelops content for distribution through various Department-level social media channelsWrites and edits social media postsCreates PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership to include messages, citations, graphics, and talking pointsSupports development of staff presentations with interactive webinar features for key stakeholdersCollaborates with program manager to plan and execute outreach briefings to deepen relationships with key stakeholdersCoordinates with external partners, specifically the National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF), on deterrence marketing mattersDevelop relationships with public affairs officers to support the organization's visibility activitiesConducts outreach to internal and external organizations to secure speaking engagements for program director and training staffSupports strategic planning and event management as necessaryTravels domestically and overseas as required in support of program overviews and briefingsPerforms other duties as assignedProfessional Qualification & SkillsCitizenshipS. Citizenship requiredEducationBachelor's degreePreferred: Communications or MarketingPreferred: Master's degree in CommunicationsExperienceFive (5) to Seven (7) years of experiencePreferred: Technical training and/or curriculum developmentPreferred: Department of State experiencePreferred: Certification Insider Threat FundamentalsExperience with strategic communications, including the successful implementation of an organization-wide communications strategyExperience in writing on behalf of executive-level leaders, including identifying and researching potential message topics, drafting messages, and working closely with leaders to refine the message prior to publicationExperience interacting and working with senior leadershipKnowledge of WordPress and Joomla content management systemsAbility to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision or oversightAbility to manage multiple efforts at once, including tactical or day-to-day and strategic or long- termDemonstration of initiative and drive needed to inject oneself into friction points to help bring solutions to complex problemsExcellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to interface with program personnel at all levelsPreferredAbility to multitask in a fast-paced team environment while seeking input from othersExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in creating and editing images,Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelCLEARANCE REQUIREMENTPosition will be subject to a U.S. Government Security Investigation.
