You'll be instrumental in supporting internal operations, including purchasing, inventory transfers, and maintaining accurate inventory records.\nResponsibilities:\nAs an Inventory Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:\nEfficiently unloading and loading trucks with a variety of products.\nOperating forklifts to safely store merchandise and materials in our warehouse.\nPromptly purchasing and receiving materials into our system to maintain accurate inventory.\nOrganizing and stocking shelves and supply rooms to ensure optimal levels of inventory.\nPicking, packing, and shipping daily supply and part orders with speed and accuracy.\nAssembling new equipment as needed to meet customer demands.\nCompleting bills of lading and necessary paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments.\nTracking and managing incoming and outgoing stock to maintain appropriate inventory levels.\nEnsuring meticulous inventory control, including equipment fixed assets and cycle counts.\nMaintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.\nAssisting with the return of non-company assets and coordinating with other teams as required.\nCross-training with fellow inventory coordinators to provide support and cover additional tasks as needed.\nSupporting deliveries and field installations to ensure customer satisfaction.\nManaging daily trash and recycling operations to keep the workspace tidy.\nPerforming other duties as assigned to support team goals and operational efficiency.\nQualifications:\nMust have:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education.\nPrevious warehouse experience (3-5 years), demonstrating reliability and proficiency in inventory management.\nPhysical fitness to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and ability to operate a 15-foot box truck.\nProficiency with computers, including experience using inventory management systems like SAP and generating system reports.\nFamiliarity with warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, lift gates, and RF barcode-scanning devices.\nNice to have:\nExperience operating a forklift is advantageous.\nPrevious exposure to project management tasks.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for generating reports and presentations.\n\nABOUT US: Sharp Business Systems\nSharp Business Systems (SBS) is a direct sales division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, the U.S. based subsidiary of Japan's Sharp Corporation.
