Monitor operational equipment and systems. Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures. Coordinate activities with other departments. Implement programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness. Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions\n\nCoordinates and monitors the contents of shipments that leave Comprehensive Logistics.\nAssists with training Material Movement Team Members.\nPlans, assigns, and directs work.\nAppraises the performance of Material Movement Team Members.\nInvolved in multidisciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drive the company’s Continuous Improvement Process and Policies\nResponsible for on-the-job training.\nEnsures compliance with Comprehensive Dock Safety Procedures.\nThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that material is shipped to the customer promptly. They must also determine the need to hot-shot material and ensure that the Five Alarm Process is initiated and executed.\nThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the commodity distribution in any shipment is sufficient to meet customer needs.\nExperience working within a Union Environment.\nIT Savvy with various equipment, RF scanners, and other items.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nEducation: Minimum of a high school Diploma\nGood written and oral communication\nWarehousing and Shipping/Receiving experience (Required)\nSupervisor/ Leadership/ Management experience (Required)\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word\n\nAbout The Company\n\nBuilt for precision.
