We provide Bridge, Transportation, Construction Support, Water/Wastewater, Site/Civil, Building Systems, Design-Build, Survey/Mapping, and Technology services to a host of public and private clients.\nResponsibilities:\nApply knowledge of engineering to assist in designing bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation-related infrastructure.\nPerform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.\nWork with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.\nPerform load rating calculations and prepare reports.\nMethodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.\nClearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.\nMay conduct site investigations and NBIS bridge inspections.\nAssist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.\nQualifications:\nBS in Civil Engineering.\n0 to 3 years of structure design experience.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExperienced utilizing MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.\nExperience with NBIS bridge inspection and/or load rating is a plus.\nExperience with AASHTOWare BrR, BAR7, and other load rating software is a plus.\nAI Engineers is a multi-disciplinary, ENR-500 company with eight offices in the U.S. We provide Civil, Structural, Water/Wastewater, and Building Systems services to a host of public and private clients.
